I've been on here going on 12 yrs.
I joined to comment on a multi page thread about how to make a right turn..lol
I think I posted the correct way was any way it takes to make it without incident and was promptly cajoled, like my experience didn't mean squat cause I was a newbie on the site. While some company trained minion would try to tell me how to turn R after 35 years.
Saw the SSB thread on whatever company he was running for and got a kick out of all the crap he related in his thread, cause we've all been there at some point..and if you ain't.. you will.
I find it an entertaining read and have kept up w the adventures almost daily.
I would assume if somebody had a problem or issue with it or his posts they simply wouldn't read let alone post in it. My 2 cents..carry on.RussianBearTruckeR, 4mer trucker, kemosabi49 and 16 others Thank this. -

Dropped my ice cream this morning. Because of that delay getting the previous load unloaded, I ended up doing a split break in order to make it on time. Planned on going back to the Love's just east of that Target DC in Cedar Falls, but my next load comes out of Ankeny, and the weather was getting challenging across US-20 out of Cedar Falls. When I left the DC, it was 28° and overcast and a bit breezy. Between there and I-35, it got #### windy and down to 21° by the time I got going south. And the plows were trying to keep up, not from any snow falling, but just from the blowing snow that had the road covered in spots, and being a crosswind, it was almost dizzying at times...and periodically would make you loose all road feel. So, I busted butt down to the Altoona FJ before it got worse so I can get a washout and pick up 10 miles from here in the morning. I made it here with 6 min to spare on my abreviated split 14.

How long before bottom feeding mega trucking companies try this in order to keep drivers (last time I checked, Wisconsin was part of the USA, not some communist or socialist dictatorship)
