Just wanted to know from experienced truckers about my rights while at receiver. I am o/o leased to a company. My route often takes me to this specific receiver . This receiver
    1. Ask me for driver’s license, even though they are not government or military contracted. ( give me your DL or leave their words)
    2. They often have 3 feet tall snow between and on the top of the empty trailers which I am supposed to pick up and their jockeys completely ignore you like you are nothing when ask for help. ( they see you spinning and smoking your wheels trying to get underneath but never stops for help)
    3. Few weeks ago picking up container form here, because of the snow between the containers, I twisted my back in such a way that every time I bend over to pick up something I get this shooting sensation in my back.
As truckers , do we have any rights or we just have to shut the **** up?????

Pretty simple. Same as theirs. You can refuse anything. But they can refuse you access. SMH

I'm only going to address #1. You DO NOT have to give them that information! However, if you do refuse to provide it be ready to be told to leave the property!

I was a switch driver for a short while and looked for drivers having difficulties in your situation.
I'd use the switch tractor to help them out and refused to accept tip money. Was offered cash often, but never accepted it. I considered that kicking a guy while he's down.

Crap! I watch cops quite often and was ready with the right answer. And, both of my SILs are cops so I could’ve hit either of them up if I forgot one. But, alas, those ain’t the rights you asked about.

    1) Leave. And tell them F yourself on the way out.
    2) Yard jockey's are bad. Bad people. Very mean.
    3) Should have called an attorney immediately. Stop what you're doing right now, go to the E.R. and contact an attorney.

If you are an O/O, shouldn't you be free to refuse dispatch to that customer?

The last part each and every time. You have rights but not any pertaining to the situations you listed other than not going to that customer.
