From experience, these douche bags have little to no experience running a semi. 40 across AZ was one of the common interactions.

Multiple occasions - in the NASCAR season - had them almost run us off the road. I caught up to one at a rest area and chewed him out - dumb kid that had no experience.

Gave them a wide berth ever since.

i’ve had the complete opposite experience with them over the years. I’ve ran threw the night with more than a few of them and they were nothing but professional. While they might not be the slowest trucks on the road, they typically don’t set the world on fire either. Some thing to remember is they are a rolling billboard & the team can loose multi million dollar sponsorships because of a video of them driving like douchebags.

Agreed, I live in Nascars backyard, it’s not easy to get on as a driver, most of the big name teams only hire very experienced drivers with impeccable safety standards.

My neighbor across the street from me flies a Gulfstream for NASCAR..

I sent him the news link and asked if he’d get me an application :)

I had four of them pass me yesterday in convoy, but none of them were that number. Nice looking trucks, and they were hauling tail. I was doing 73mph, and they walked me.

I have never seen a NHRA, NASCAR, BULL HAULER OR NETWORK TRUCK( NBC, ESPN, CBS, ETC) do less than 75 mph! Especially NASCAR trucks, its like they are racing to the next track!! So im sure speed could have been a factor in the crash.

    Coover and bzinger Thank this.

"SHR can confirm that speed was not a factor in the crash."

We may not be talking about the same type of speed.

SHR doing damage control. Anyone that's been out here any amount of time knows those transport drivers haul ###.
