    Random guy just happened to be parked there - gave him the dash cam footage.

    Starts at the 30 second mark.

    School bus towing a farm hopper with auger, he was slowed in advance for a red light in a 35mph zone.

    Wrecked his ICC bumper, kid was ok. No injuries, but buddy is in pain from impact.

    No markings on school bus, 28 year old kid had no insurance in vehicle.

    This is what you get for trying to go to work and earn a living - vs, the general unregulated idiots out there.

    Trailer will be down for repairs, until 120 day inspection is completed. He’s going for x-rays tomorrow.

    He loathes ambulance chasers - but I wouldn’t blame him if he pursued it.

    He’s early 60’s, and he said to me “ This might be retirement for me “ -

    Not like “ I’ll get a big settlement “ - more - “ I’m done with this $&&”

    Seed/grain trailer had a reciever hitch. Was bent 90 degrees after wreck. Sound of brakes is the kid, struggling to stop the weight before impact.

    My bud drives like grandma. Like we all do through traffic lights in town if we have sense.

    He got pushed to the white line, where he would have eventually stopped - I wonder if he got pushed into the intersection, or if a car was behind him - what the result would have been.

    Probably no brakes on that cart either.

    Most times I see farmers moving equipment with their pickups they just idle along, never moving too quick.

    Why did the tractor trailer slam on the brakes?

    dang thats ####ty man... i got rear ended by a pickup a couple years back in california. suspended license, no registration, no insurance.. looked similar to this except was on the highway.. didnt even feel it happen just saw it in the mirrors. but that school bus looked like it hit really hard, definatly could see some whiplash happening

    that trailer should be alright. might just need a new icc bumper and check for any other broken parts back there.. hope your buddy makes a full recovery.. get ready for endless paperwork and insurance ########

    The screeching brakes was the bus coming in hot, truck had slowed for the stoplight.
