Have you looked at the rivian electric truck or even the hyundai pick up? They are kinda small for pickups but look good.

    It's the juju.

Having actually seen you driving one day I can imagine you making the same gesture as your avatar when you realized the a/c was broke :D

Nah, I only mentioned the Tesla because it's ugly as crap and my dislike for EV's in general. (We live out in the country and the only charging one would get would be at home) We have an '01 Silverado (that is way more reliable than the '16 Ram). Right now, it'll do what my wife needs for her remaining time before her job is eliminated. After that a crew cab or quad cab Chevy or I am even thinking a 4 door Tacoma might be in our future. I considered a 4 door Tundra, but they're about as ugly as a Tesla. We need something bigger than a regular cab or an extended cab so mama's 80lb Pitty has a playpen. And the Pitty has a permanent leg injury that makes a mid-sized SUV tough to get in and out of.

    It was more like

:angry4: or :banghead: for ever buying a Fiat Ram.

Two years ago I stopped just short of buying what would have been my fourth f-150 and picked up a Tacoma. I got an access cab v-6 4x4 SR5. They’re great tough trucks, very comfortable, and just plain fun to drive. They’re all reliable but the third gen 2016 to 2023 look the best. The 24’s look fine but they are miniature Tundras.

I have a 2018 Ram 2500 Laramie with a 6.4L hemi and I really like this truck. I have had the ABS module quit twice under the warranty and I use it to pull our 5th wheel. When we are done rving I will probably go to a 4 door Tacoma or a Nissan Frontier with a V-6. Very nice small trucks but roomy and fairly economical. Look at my avatar photo.

Can’t speak for the Tacoma but I had a Frontier several years ago. It was a turd on power and horrible gas mileage for a small truck.

Economy has never been my concern. My Ram with 6.4L gets 9 mpg when pulling the 5th wheel and at best 18 mpg without the 5th wheel and feathering the gas pedal. I've always owned gas hogs from Chevy 348 tri-power, Pontiac 389 tri-power and Mopar 440's.

We’ve owned two 2007 Tacomas. Bought them both used. Couldn’t be happier with them.
(And I did say “we” as Mrs. 48 and I reconciled about six weeks ago).

My wife's Ram has that Pentistar V-6 (3.6 L)...peppy for it's displacement but her lifetime average MPG is 19 with only her market gear in the bed(with a solid tonneau cover) And if she takes the stuff out, it goes down a point or two. I think because the arse end comes up enough to create more drag. Been wanting to put the leveling kit in the front to level it out but I am affraid it would make it too high for her and her remaining bad knee to get in and out. It's only 2wd but the cab sits higher than our Chevy.
