well, if they go on strike, let'em.

the company has pretty much folded up.

the teamsters will only nail the coffin shut

if it ain't the fuel cards, its something else, that signals the end.

    bzinger and ducnut Thank this.

Teamsters are issuing a 6 PM mass conference call. I usually don't partake but this might be the only chance I get to hear things in real time.

I showed some of y'all's posts to my dispatcher and outbound supervisor and both seemed surprised just how dire things are getting. One wasn't even aware of a strike. My dispatcher is pissed that his boss is not filling him in. Sounds like he is applying to the same company as me. I would look forward to working with him again.

Hopefully none of the sleeper team guys get stranded if the s*it hits the fan and they cannot fuel.

    well if that happens..??

abandon ship, as they were abandoned.

show no loyalty to get the equipment back to any terminal.

get on a plane and get on home.

They have sleeper trucks? Dear god. If they can't even keep their day cabs in decent shape, I dread to think what those are like.

Yea they are leased but they were questionable when I ran teams 6 years ago. Looks like they still have the same Freightliners lol.

They have sleeper trucks that come down from Canada. I normally see a BUNCH of them around the Grand Forks-Fargo area, I’ve seen one in the last 4 days and that was today heading north.

the Fargo barn was deader than a door nail this morning, all trucks were there and all the doors were had trailers in them with all the forklift’s sitting idle.

My buddy has officially bailed on them and is starting with us as a linehaul guy next week. Thankfully we have benefits from day one for him.
    @road_runner Brother…. I’m praying you’re gone from there asap.

Sleeper domiciles will stop dispatching teams so this does not happen.

bzinger, JoeyJunk and Digman943 Thank this.

So what's the main problem with Yellow? Why they couldn't stay profitable compare to other LTL companies and why did they keep buying other carriers over the years?

    JoeyJunk and Siinman Thank this.
