There isn't really a "low man" on the totem pole at this company.

Maybe there is an I haven't encountered it but that attitude from a driver who has been here ten years making 54c a mile would be hilarious considering I walked in making more.

Swapped with @rokue this evening, it was a pleasure meeting you tonight. Any questions on the truck search don’t hesitate to ask.

Swapped loads twice today, very unusual. Joe is working his magic trying to get me home on time. Like everything else here, it will all workout in the end.

Pulled out of CB this morning and picked up a Lancaster, TX load from Aurora. At home right now getting a 34 in then back out Thursday morning. I'll be requesting another 34 this weekend just to get back to a normal schedule.

After I drop in Topeka this morning, gotta grab something to get me through Fremont. Truck is slowly losing coolant, can't find a leak this time, not major yet, about a half gallon even 10 days-2 weeks. Once that's figured out I have a feeling ill be headed to Detroit in Omaha. Amber code light came on again yesterday, looks like it's aftertreatment crap again. I have a feeling it's gonna involve the filter. I'm at 470k, just before 500k it has to go to them anyway to change all filters, oil sample, ect. To put the extended warranty in effect. Hoping I can get em to just do it all now so I don't have to come back in 25-27k. I doubt they will, they want that done in the 490's, oh well, will see what happens. Hopefully I'm not down too long

One thing we ran into with our Freightshakers was coolant leaks in the lines running to the DEF tank. For some reason it's really hard to find small leaks on them.

bzinger, BigR and cdavis188 Thank this.

I had the same coolant issue in my Freightliner, ended up being the charge air cooler.

    bzinger and BigR Thank this.

The only thing that flows through the CAC is compressed air from the turbo.

A common cause is the EGR Cooler.

In years past, when the EGR cooler would start going bad, coolant would leak into the air side of the cooler then not burn in the cylinders. It would get pushed out the exhaust and gum up the DPF and then that would cause an incomplete regen...which would cause the DPF to need to be replaced.
