Me too... I'll be rebuilding old junkers from the junk yard before I EVER buy an EV... No way I'm going to depend on an electric vehicle to get my family to safety or a hospital in an area that is prone to -20 degree temps and simultanious power outages that can last for several days.

Nothing poor and trashy about that hat. Quite the opposite from my perspective... Does that make me poor and trashy??? LOL

Big time, at least in my house if not here. I've been banned more than once. And I get muted regularly.

    Okay.

We're pressing onward. South x southwest.

That was the most delicious watermelon I've ever eaten in my life.

Changed oil/filters and fuel filters today. Got way dirtier than anticipated. I can probably use this new look to get a job at the TA shop. Although I will have to learn how to not tighten filters and maybe leave an old gasket on. I have a lot to learn.

    Cascadia broke down today.
    Thought at first, brake chamber.
    Been better.
But the valve under fifth wheel, went to blowing air through the park brake valve, on a two lane road, middle nowhere,
Thought, we’ll, no shoulder, but a wide spot in about a mile.

The buzzer came on days, “Parking brake on!!”
Then it set the truck parking brake though the button was pushed in.

Don’t ask me what i think about that engineer that came up with that idea.
Driving 55 and then setting truck brakes.

They seized down, just like they were set so you couldn’t back them off.
Had to get a mechanic i know out to cage the brake chambers to limp it on in and unloaded 2 miles from shop.
Be finished tomorrow with corn harvest if i can keep one of these trucks together.
Radiator on one, brake valve now on other.

So this is going to be 2217 actual miles.

    2193 paid ( based on FB )

Figure 5 miles for groceries and truck stops.

That means we're being taken advantage of for 19 miles.
