I'm pretty sure no one who has any part in designing trucks has driven one anywhere besides a test track. If that.

Thats Brisket. That’s not pig. So not really Barbecue. Please don’t buy one of those. They require a lot of time to properly prepare.

So The saddle maker I follow on YouTube, and where I get most of my patterns, is finally goimg to be offering a pattern pack for a rope bag. Anyone who has hung around with professional rodeo ropers has seen these very ornate leather bags that are designed specifically for roping ropes. I really want to buy this pattern when it becomes available... But I dont know that I would ever be able to sell one, as they are very expensive.

My thoughts are to buy the pattern and build ONE, which will then be placed for sale in my local saddle shop... But I doubt it will ever sell as it will likely have a price tag of $2k+. I just dont know if im willing to put that much time and effort into something that likely wont sell. It will likely have over 100 hours just in the tooling alone. Granted it would be large enough to catch the eye of almost everyone that come into the shop, and therefor may very well bring me more custom work... But will it bring me enough to justify that much time??? I just dont know.

For those of you who may have never seen such a bag, here is a video that shows one Don Gonzales built a few years ago. The finished bag is shown right in the very beginning.
