I was in Louisiana last week and saw those.
FYI to everyone I passed the test and got my endorsement.
Next week I will be installing the signs on my trailer.
The test was easy for me. I used DMV Genie app or website to study and used Videos on YouTube for practice tests. But becareful with the YouTube practice tests. Some of the answers are incorrect.

Those bungee cords across the placard will get you a ticket for obstruction in LA .

Yep. And some of the placards supplied will be so thin that they can blow out of the holders. I use thin clear plastic pieces the same size of the placards. Work good and will keep the placards in place even in high wind and rain. You can buy them at JJ Keller and Amazon but they are pricy there. I ordered some from Walmart.com that came in 12'x12' Cut an inch and a quarter off of two sides and round the corners to make them easy to slide in.

Had my welder cut out some metal just a bit bigger than the placards.
Two diamonds side by side and weld to underside of trailer just back from winches.
Can flip them without getting down on my worn out knees.
Bolted and riveted slow them down a little when stealing.

This is how I setup my placards. I need to figure out a better way of doing the front one.

Put it on the front of trailer.
It does not have to be on front of truck.
