Wait 'til Dave sees the rate on some of that lumber. They're known as Sierra Pathetic for a reason. Also, tarping on a July day? It'll be great for his weight loss program.

Lets not forget frozen tarps. Either they've been rolled up wet and frozen or they froze on the load ...it doesn't matter. You just get out there and get it done...all the time thinking about what a great rate you're hauling for.
I'm sure every flatbed driver has his favorite story and they all revolve around disaster and hardship. There's a message there.

    O. M. G. that's exactly what happened. Just noticed it this morning. Dumped the whole mess in the burn barrel and lit em up. I won't let it get that full again.

I have a few stories of disaster and hardship from those days. That's what makes dry van mega carrier Cascadia Life seem so easy. It's like listening to yacht rock all day instead of death metal and punk.

Frozen tarps…..that is one of the worst things that has to be dealt with. Never fun.

Nothing like a frozen tarps and the load is frozen to the trailer, now there’s some fun.
