Delivered here to Kawasaki’s new facility here in Savannah. Reloading at the same place with other stuff going to Ohio. At least this means i can avoid going back through Atlanta. Gonna hop on 95 to 26 to take that towards Knoxville and I-75

I wouldn’t have thought that the key ignitions in late model Freightliners are apparently originally from Chrysler. But that makes sense since Mercedes owns Freightliner, and they also owned Chrysler for about 10 years before the great recession IMG_3647.jpeg

The 12volt plugs are also from Chrysler

Sterlings were hilarious back when, Ford Parts, Freightliner parts, Mercedes parts, and some Sterling specific parts.

Anyway, they couldn’t get me routed to Fremont or CB so my truck is getting serviced at some place in KC. It seems likely at this point that it’s going to piddle the day away.

That was after I found a gap in the floor of the trailer I was dropping in KC and had to run that over to get patched.

If you’re at Great Central in KC they are usually pretty good. But it’s a crapshoot you could be there 15 minutes or 3 hours.

    IH9300SBA and DonRobbie Thank this.

Wound up being about 2 1/4 hours. Most of which was the shop foreman not telling anyone I was there. Once everyone was on the same page it took about 20 minutes.

    IH9300SBA and cdavis188 Thank this.

Anyone of y’all run I-49 south between Joplin, Mo and Ft Smith, AR? It’s telling me 10 more miles than my current, but no tolls. Tolls get me yelled at… especially the spendy Oklahoma ones.

    Bumper and IH9300SBA Thank this.

Yeah all the time, no tolls a bit hilly but a good route it's formally known as 540,

I actually unlocked a drivers Century Class Freightliner with my Jeep XJ key once.(My XJ key actually had the Chrysler Pentastar logo on it) He had accidentally locked his keys in the truck at the fuel island. It took some wiggling and jiggling but it finally worked.
