So I was told at a safety meeting. Place I currently work at has been close to getting driver facing cameras multiple times. But then it never happens. Because they know no one wants them. Currently I know only real way of it happening. Is it the Gooberment requires it. So currently safe at R F Chamberland up in Maine for now

Someone should start a Thread on " Who Does Not have driver facing cameras"
Trucker Paul and DreadfulDay Thank this. -
One of the happiest days of my life was ripping the CB out of my cab, throwing it in the trash at the Petro in Gary and never buying another.
Too many clowns out here anymore.BigHossVolvo Thanks this. -

Or just not used it as a CB... mine doubles as a NOAA weather radioSpeed_Drums Thanks this.

That’s already a thing at Saia.

Hell, I got a laugh and a half outta the company policies when I started at Swift... they classified talking on the CB as distracted driving. Drinking coffee, too. Straight up included it in the cell phone policy. Good thing #### wasn't enforced, because I would've been canned about a dozen times over for drinking my coffee and keying up on the radio lmfao

This is far from the only instance I’ve read about on here with people looking in on those cameras at any time regardless of whether or not an “event” or whatever was triggered.Trucker Paul Thanks this.
