Other possible options:

• Schneider National has a terminal in Charlotte, & a drop yard elsewhere in NC. Schneider offers several different freight type options, all under one name. Most other starter carriers are "one-trick ponies"....with really just one freight type. If you try & don't like a one-trick pony...you have to jump ship to another. But not with Schneider.
• As you advance through the CDL school there -- different "starter" carriers will visit your class, & give a dog-n-pony show. Depending on who these carriers are -- some may well be worth a 2nd look. These carriers will be ACTIVELY HIRING -- or they really wouldn't be there talking to your class. Capish?
• After talking to a co-worker at length about his beginner experiences at C R England -- I can't recommend them in good conscience; any of the above mentioned options would be a MUCH BETTER choice.

99.8% of similar requests "forget" to mention they are convicted serial killers or have 9 fatal wrecks. LOL

 

Forget the spotty employment history, that was over 3-5 years ago.
The so-called exciting life story is wonderful for personal memories, but can be a detriment in the current job environment. Keep that to yourself for the time being.
