I’m only at 110k for the year. I don’t know how I did 129k last year. I feel like I’ve been running pretty hard but I guess I’m taking more home time.
if you haven’t started your sick time request procedure you might start it soon. I put in for 3 days and they rejected it because I put in for 24 hours in one day instead of 3 days at 8 hours. My fault but they just rejected it and it sat in my compligo inbox for 6 weeks until I looked to see why I didn’t get paid. Then they paid out at $12 less than what they were supposed to. They fixed that as soon as I brought it up and I had the money almost immediately. I miss the old single sheet of paper process.

If a guy really needed these miles on this pay check, he could always show up on Saturday. The system will arrive you when you get in the geofence and depart you when you leave. Boom, trip completed, miles paid. There is no penalty for not sending the paperwork in right away, no one is going to even look for it before the second.
I hear it’s been a real #### fight out there on the west coast. I seen a lot of guys heading east with 10’ wide crates with no signs or flags. I assume they are bootlegging with no permit also. It’s hard to compete with that since we run a legal operation.gentleroger, Winnyf1 and motocross25 Thank this. -
Two trailers in the last week that needed repairs right away. Both 10 year old trailers. This one needs a leveling valve and a wheel seal. The last driver had two flats fixed at the yard and I picked up two more nails in the same tire today. I plugged them and aired the tire back up.
I guess I jinxed myself, I forgot a few of these stretch flats also don’t have tire inflation systems. -
supersnackbar and Oxbow Thank this.

As your company grows cost saving will be key to their success (at least in managements mind) so yeah they will always pay as little as they can to service their customer and allow for growth. And with all of your nice red trucks out and about, well…..Gearjammin' Penguin and Lonesome Thank this. -
This is where i’m sitting at as of now for the month. I may crack 12k depending on what load(s) i get next but unfortunately i’ll be going home in a few days so i won’t get much more than that

I heard stories of drivers dragging their feet and delivering right at the end of their delivery window even though they could have been there days earlier. Purposely delivering at 5pm Friday in a bad area almost guaranteeing a weekend off. Ect.
of course their calculation could have also been off in their favor. Or they were full of it.The Block Robert, dwells40 and Lonesome Thank this. -
I actually calculated it out while I was waiting on my last OD load to come across the border, then emailed him the differences between the 2 in my case, and an estimate on how much less I'd be making, which he questioned. And I told him that the only way I would come close to making the same amount is not to go home but once or twice a year...which ended up being what I have had to do. I personally think my overall trust in anything he says was seriously damaged by the whole deal.Knucklehead, hope not dumb twucker, dwells40 and 3 others Thank this. -
