Sorry my phone isn't letting me correct my posts. My first full week (with me trying to learn everything being that its a new company) was 2983 miles. I like it here. So far so good.

 

Any decent parking around Needles, CA? Or am i better off just staying in Kingman?

Trying to get down Cajon early enough tomorrow morning to beat all the traffic into the basin

 

There is a pilot & a loves at exit 9 in Lake Havasu city Arizona. That’s the closest you’re gonna get to Needles

 

I have seen a billboard for a truckstop in Needles with 100+ parking spots, but I have never been there. It doesn't show up on truckerpath. There is always Havasu, and there is a brand new One9 just before Havasu.

 

There’s this big lot behind the Shell station in Needles. Used to be free, can’t say if it still is or not.

 

Thank you kind sirs. I decided that i’ll stop in Kingman and take the back way into the greater LA area since my delivery is in Redlands. Avoids all the nonsense of going down Cajon on a Monday morning. Also avoids the ag check station

 

i averaged 8.1 going 65-66 in January. However i also had quite a few lighter loads and only went out west once.

 

I park there just about every time I leave California on 40. I’ve never been woken up or bothered

 

I figured they wouldn’t say anything to you. I’m glad you’re ok though. I’m guessing the idea and the video helped fixed your lights?

 

I like stopping at Needles. The Wagon Wheel has some GOOD grub, fast service, and the price isn't bad for CA.
