Big shock, the central planner is still looking for a load. My PTA was set last week, it was set for this morning, and naturally, they're still looking for a load. And before anyone says freight is slow, in the 2.5 years I have worked here, I can count on one hand the number of times having been preassigned a load out of the central planner's zone (and still have enough fingers left over to play a 3 chord blues riff on my guitar)

I had a nice talk with a Lonestar driver at the port this morning and she too is getting fed up with TFI acquisition. She just came off of sitting for 3 days herself and says she’s been receiving the guaranteed salary more often than she would like. Hopefully they will find you something soon.

It isn't my fleet manager. I have had 8 fleet managers, and this happened with all of them. If anyone needs firing, it is the central planner. He would screw up planning a trip to the toilet and end up dropping a dilly bar in his depends.

Saw this descending into 29 Palms this morning. This is a true oversize load. 3 CHP units + a pilot car in front, another truck pushing, plus two more pilot cars and a CHP cruiser bringing up the rear. Lead officer said it was 20 feet wide and pretty much had me pull into the dirt and grass. I wonder how much this thing weighs IMG_4716.jpeg IMG_4717.jpeg

With that many spare tires strapped to the deck, I would say, a lot. I wonder if they have a dedicated tire guy that travels with them.

I wish I had a pay guarantee. This weeks miles will be the check I get right before hometime, and so far I have 675 miles for the week. And unless I get something that delivers by Friday, I won't even be able to add any layover time to it. I will officially say it here and now, if anyone is considering SPD or any of the former Daseke companies, DON'T DO IT. Don't walk, RUN from any WTF-I company(or SFI, or whatever we are this week).

He’s been here longer than both of us combined, he must be doing something right. Have you reached out to any one in Arlington to try and get your recent issues resolved? SPD works very much on the “no news is good news” plan. They can’t attempt to fix what they don’t know is broken. There’s guys that would actually to prefer to run like you have been, not everyone is as motivated as you are.

If he has been here that long, you'd think he would be good at it, or at least better than he is, based on all my years with all my various companies, he is the worst planner I have ever worked with.

I have #####ed until I am blue in the face. Since the Wylie parternership and the WTF-I buyout, the overall give a #### level out of Arlington has dropped. I really don't think they care as long as recruiting keeps butts in the seats, which is the Wylie way.

They probably are tired of dealing with you and rather than fire you just starving you out so you will finally quit. Someone within the system probably reads these posts and have figured out who you are.
