From what I understand, the only people they train over here are a very few select individuals and it’s usually people that are related to someone. I’ve been here a long time in the company that’s what I’ve been told but other than that, they require a minimum of a year experience

They do train some. When I was in Indy, there was a driver there who ditched his one trainer because the trainers truck was like living in a trash dumpster, so he was waiting on a new trainer. He was going thru retraining because of an accident. Plus every message we get updating us on our quarterly miles for the bonus, they remind trainees that they're not eligible, unless that's an old canned message they never changed.

To illistrate how little attention Lincoln pays to the PTA we send in. This morning I changed my PTA to Tuesday morning because a) my hours are getting thin the 1st half of the week and I can squeeze in a reset before delivering Tuesday morning and b) I want to speak to Deland about my options before I get another #### load. Late this afternoon, I get 2 preplans. Live load tomorrow(Monday) in Union City, GA going to Greenville SC (live unload the next day) then a 2nd preplan that live loads Tuesday and delivers in TX FRIDAY. And the Princess isn't in today, so she wasn't involved. Total miles of both loads 1175... that's 1175 miles for 4.5 days. I promptly rejected both and will have more proof that they need to get their poop together in Lincoln, especially the weekend staff.

I haven't worked there in 15 years and it appears that nothing has changed.

Atlanta metro to Greenville SC? And both live loads?

Wow. I would've been pissed off too. If they would've hooked you up with a nice coast to coast run after that short GA to SC run, then it would have been different and understandable.

For the most part I’m not having any issues the issues he’s having is the people that is dealing with on the board that he’s on. He needs to get them to move them to my asset manager’s board and I can guarantee he won’t have any issues…

Holidays probably screwing loads up. But yes, weekend dispatch has been worthless for awhile now. Im just hoping things don't become a repeat of 2023, would basically have a bad week, then an ok one. Like one week would be like 1800mi, then the next would be 2700. And then dumb appointments. Like a 700mi load that picked up Monday at 1500 then delivered Thursday at 0300. And then preplans weren't sent out until after you got empty. So it was better to deliver ASAP. But you still might sight for a day between loads. But not enough to get a 34. Not that you'd need it.
