Well, I got in touch with Deland, Deland called the Ops Manager, Deland just messaged me and said the Op's Manager said my current A/M will be calling me and seeing where we need to adjust things to get me the miles I wish (when available). So, it sounds like I am stuck with her unless I switch to Crete or pop the chute and bail out.

 

Not only that, but Shaffer can haul Crete loads in a reefer, but Crete can't haul Shaffer loads in a van.

these air ride reefers ride bad enough with a Freightliner, I wouldn't be able to survive long getting the crap kicked out of me pulling a spring ride plate trailer.

well, if it doesn't work out with her, then they'll lose me one way or the other. It would be better to let me move and continue to generate revenue for the company than watch me move on (again) and then replace me with a flip-flop wearing steering wheel holder that can't run more than 3-400 miles, and only if the sun is shining.

 

Well, things have started moving the right direction, and I hope it continues. After a brief conversation with dispatch, I am on a pharmaceutical load out of McDonough going to Bentonville AR for anytime tomorrow (754 loaded miles) then I am planned on a load out of Russellville AR going to Casa Grande, AZ. So, I get at least 1 round away from the east coast.
