Your company cut the 401k match without saying a single word to their drivers. You have to ask permission to get a new fuel stop. They're making you guys run low on DEF and worrying about whether or not you can make it back to a terminal in time before the DEF goes empty. Your hometime policy for OTR is 1 day off for every week out, while you give your regional guys 2 days off every week.

Don't act like your company is above the mega ########, they might not be as bad as others but they have their issues that plague other mid sized/megas as well. FCC not informing their drivers of cutting the 401k match was particularly par for the course for mega ########.

I'll say this and I told Snackbar before, if he can stay running good I think he made a good decision being where he is given the economic climate right now. I don't drive for Crete/Shaffer (never have) but since Snackbar hasn't mentioned it, I'm assuming they're still giving raises and not cutting 401k matches or profit sharing or anything like that. I think Snackbar's in a good position to ride out this economic downturn.

Not to mention they make new hires wait 60+ days for benefits...along with not allowing drivers who want to buy a truck a choice of available units.

Problem with FCC and all the others that offer a fleese is the trucks already have a third of there warranty gone and if they actually pay it off it’s wore out by then. With all the headaches involved in being a fake o/o I don’t know why anyone would be stupid enough to do that in today’s market.

Good deal. Didn’t realize that. That will help then if they pay it off and want to keep it a year or two before they trade it off.
