Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

Unless they find a short 1 day run for me, I will end up with just over 2400 miles for this week...another words, my average daily miles for the week are in the 300's again. They just can't break out of the 300 mile per day routine. And it isn't the Princess' doing, she has been off most of the week and I have had the dispatcher du jure. This time of year, reefer freight should be balls to the wall, but I can't get consistent miles. Plus, the $30 cash I spent last week topping off the reefer fuel at that partial T/A that doesn't take EFS, didn't get reimbursed. I guess I should have driven my 6.8 mpg truck 40 miles out of route to save them $5 in reefer fuel expense.

 

I hate how our planners give you false hope. 8:20 last night I get the "we project your PTA to be...." message, like they're actually thinking about pre-planning me on a load. It's now almost 7 am and...no preplan has yet to pop up on my screen.

 

I hope I don't get desperate enough to ever have to pull a dry van again
