Every one I have had was too. The new Crapcadias ride a little better than the old ones, and those rode better than the Centurys, but they're nowhere near as smooth as a Peterworth.

. Not by much, if I had fillings in my teeth, they would have been rattled out already

saw my old truck rolling up I-35 in OK. Surprised to see it still going. It was around 300k when I turned it in back in January of 23

Hows Magnum these days fellas, I've been out of trucking about a year..probably gonna get back at it first of next year and got them near the top of my list. Last I checked in with them about 15 months ago they wanted to start me at 48cpm..seemed a bit low since I got about 6 years total experience no accidents or tix.

They don't require an overpriced refresher course. Only simple road test and out with a trainer for 4 weeks.
Flight or rental car to get to ND. Weekly pay guarantee for what that's worth.
Out 3 - 4 weeks OTR. This didn't set well with me.

I get drivers want to be home more often. But 3-4 weeks is a walk in the park. I don't know how they expect an OTR company to get them home every 2 weeks. It just doesn't work that way for most companies. They count on the drivers being out a longer time so they can go where the freight takes them. Not spending time finding out and backs every other week. No wonder the government is bringing in aliens to do the job. Drivers want top pay for what THEY'RE willing to do.

4 weeks out is not all that great anymore. Especially if you have a home to care for, wife, parents, some kind of homelife, etc. The days of being married to the road don't set well much anymore for a lot. Unless that's all one craves....And yes, local stuff is paying about as much or more as OTR these days w/less hours & bs involved.

Problem is there aren't enough local gigs to go around. True, hard jobs don't sit well with a lot of ppl. That's a big reason they're bringing in foreigners. Then we ##### cause they're taking our jobs. Ability is low. Common sense is low. Common courtesy is low. Driver demands are high.Lawlessness is high. Standards and expectations are really low. So it's no wonder why the new breed of driver is both careless and dangerous.
