And guess where I am headed....back to Tar Heel. Picking up off the Mechanicsburg yard, dropping any time tomorrow...dispatch said at 1030, nothing was on me, so I said I was going to do some laundry. Still had one load in the washer when they sent me the preplan. Went to secure the trailer and send in my load call...found an extremely low tire with a screw in it. So, I dropped it in a spot by the shop and told them about it...they said they'll pull it in ASAP since I need to be down there early tomorrow.

Welp next load is picking in Faribault, MN going to Salisbury, NC Food Lion ...but It delivers the 1st so I'll be T-calling in Indianapolis terminal....... looking like 2000 plus miles paid for the week and maybe 3000 dispatched with the weekend load ......might miss the bonus since I took vacation early in the quarter but not by much ....oh well ..:(:(

in a rare occurrence I had to reject the preplan they just sent me… I deliver at 9 AM tomorrow. They wanted me to pick up just down the road in Carlisle at 4 PM tomorrow. Deliver 300 miles away at 8 PM the next day… I rejected it due to being an unproductive Since I’m gonna have 27 hours over the next couple of days available

I had to reject one too. I deliver this load in Tar Heel tomorrow. They wanted me to head to Sanderson, put in a break, then live unload Thursday morning in Harrisonburg, VA. 356 miles. Unproductive, then I told the new guy that I am on the verge of another grumpy streak like I had around my 1st hometime on his board. Basically told him that these short #### runs MUST stop. I had 7502 miles on the 15th, and I MIGHT top 12,000 by the end of the month if they get their #### together. I was gonna take home a decent bonus next month, but now I will be lucky if I get back to the same miles as I had last quarter.

And if they think I am gonna recruit and cut my miles pie into even thinner slices, then they better think again. I am doing the opposite, I am running any driver away if they ask how I like it here.

Almost went into log violation today. My goal was to get to Tom's Brook for the night. I had roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes just before exit 8 in WV. Then traffic came to a dead stop. Some kind of wreck just past exit 8. Once it was finally opened up, I managed to make the Rutter's at exit 8 with 14 seconds left on my 14. Not one word was said on the CB until everyone was at a dead stop,

And this is the way the load I picked up was left for me...also, no scale ticket or even a note on the axle weights.

It came from the same location in MA that the load I dropped was going to, so I guess the other driver was either lucky that scales were closed, or he got bypassed on Drivewyze. Looks like we're just moving pork around the country

Even with my miles slightly down this month I’m still on pace for right around 36,000+ miles for the quarter so I’m not gonna complain

Yes there was a major wreck and I went past it. I’ve got it on my dash camera. I’m going to post the pictures from it. It involve four semi’s… It wasn’t pretty

I believe the red flatbed was hit by the auto carrier…there is a truck in between the two.
