Not knowing what Tyson delivers besides Chicken, Im trying to imagine your breakdown. Lets see, pallets of chicken, chicken, more chicken. Lets make those tie/highs correct. ohhh, look, more chicken to breakdown.
If you don't have lots of line items that will be pretty easy....

Don't think you realize how many products tyson produces besides chicken.
Besides all the chicken and chicken products, they also process beef and pork..and all those products.
    Just sayin..

    Well answered.
I always found the dock guys to be pissy, and drivers to be the most help.
Made good money doing it too.

    You'll do fine.

They would be #### out of luck, if I ever deliver to that Sysco, I don't do any unloading or breaking down, They want their product, they better get to it

And that is why there are those of us who choose to work for companies where you touch freight and those that choose to just drive for months at a time. Although Im sure if you showed up with that attitude, and them being the customer, if you got a dock manager on a bad day he may just tell you to keep your load.

Yes, that's the not-so-subtle way some companies have of encouraging the driver to get off his ### and save them the lumper fee. At least I haven't heard of any outright refusing to pay the fee if the driver waits long enough, but they do drag their feet when they'd rather not

Unloading is included in the freight rate. There is a set rate and if the lumper asks for more than the set rate, a call is made to the shipper to get authorization for the excess. If the company doesn't want to pay the lumper or the driver, they are trying to pocket the fee, and get free work.
