Sure they are a breeze to put on, if you aren't already stuck.

My point is that someday you will get yourself into a situation, whether its your fault or not, where you have to think for yourself and maybe depend on someone or something that you used to view as irrelevant and antiquated. If it hasn't happened to you yet you are either lying or need to go gambling with me sometime.

Didn't say I know it all but I sure don't need to know anything about trucking past when I started driving. It doesn't pertain to today. I look forward not back. If it happened before I became a trucker then I don't care. It doesn't effect me. So stories about twin stick transmissions and outlaw driving and running coast to coast in a cabovers spring ride with a fixed seat no power steering no air conditioning no cellphones, I don't care. All they are is stories. No valuable information is gonna come from those.

Care to elaborate on that longer list? Give examples of how the govt is controlling you.

You are right you have no need for the stories, but to say there is no knowledge about trucking past five years ago is well ...........

This statement, right here, shows you to be the idiot. If you actually believe that nothing prior to when you showed up in the industry is relevant to the industry, you are part of the problem and show just how little you know.

Maybe you should go play your X-Box and let the adults talk.
