UGH, Jeb is not on my list of possibles. I sort of dig Ben Carson for now. Time will tell if he implodes but I'm pretty sure the Donald fad will fade pretty quickly pretty soon.

I'm hauling liquid CO2 now down in the Houston area. I did talk to my buds out in Midland and they're not having much fun right now. If the export ban gets lifted it may help but the Saudis control the price since it costs them like a nickle to get the crude out of the ground..haha

To much drama .....pull into the J in Dallas and 1/3 of the pumps are not working yesterday...trks are stacked up and everybody is getting bent out of shape. My pump is not working and than abunch of yelling and cursing next pump over WTH....I walk up front of my trk to see whats going on and this one fella pretty stout is going after a team of foreigners (California) for leaving trk parked in line to go inside to eat....one of the foreigners is swinging the 5ft squeegee stick not inflicting any damage while taking some good solid fists to the face. Not knowing who is feeling froggy I grab my bandanna with a big master lock tied to it (Old biker thing) and sure enough cops show up/security and manager and finally break the brawl up....I pull out without getting fuel and go further down to x 470 and pay $8 to park...Drama Free right...WRONG...I was just dozing off with the curtains pulled and BOOM,,,trk is rocking, SOB...I fly out of bed and pull curtains and see a Prime driver repositioning on my driver side. I get out to check for damage and luckily there was none, he hit my mirror and pushed it back about 8 inches without cracking it.

All of the above is why I go straight to Wilmer if I need fuel or parking in DFW. Especially Dallas.

I live in Dallas and I think I've been to that J once in 15 years. That's a whole 'nother world down there and most of the shenanigans that take place in that area don't even make the news. Several companies strictly forbid their trucks being parked in that area due to cargo theft. Seen many trucks pull out of there with the rear doors swinging. Someone went through there trailer while the driver slept and didn't have the courtesy to close em when they got done.

Poly doesn't like us to use any Dallas truckstops due to crap like that or worse. They have no problem with us bobtailing from Grand Prairie to Hutchins. One driver headed to Midlothian last weekend.

I'll park at Wilmer or the Loves next door. Or far away.
I thought they were removing the camera, because 4 different people told me that, but the shop checked and they can't remove it because the Mobileye is broke,

You'd think we'd need a pass to bobtail out of the terminals like Poly.
I'll bring that up at brunch the next time I'm in Lincoln

Yea, when you have such dangerous products being produced as we do...you have to keep the criminals and the terrorists out...lord knows we wouldn't want the secret ingredients of what our trash bags are made of getting out into the general public...could be the end of life as we know it.

Did you offer the shop a set of wire cutters to alleviate the camera issue?

I told him that that's what I thought,
I got a load from Jenks, OK to York, PA, and a message to go to New Kingston after I'm empty to have the camera removed, I asked my ### woman if they were gonna remove it or have me switch trucks, remove it she said, I stopped at Indy to do laundry and asked the office gals, they said that they were gonna remove it, my trailer needed work and the shop said to take it to a TA, so I figured I'd get the trailer some TLC at New Kingston and get the cam removed there.
On my way, I get a nasty message about why I didn't get the camera removed at Indy,
New Kingston checked their email for a work order?to see if they could do it, then called and told me they couldn't do it,
The same reason Donna told me on my hometime, this truck is a Drivecam truck.
And if they wouldn't have updated it and made it trip over mundane stuff, I wouldn't care.
