Good thing he stopped where he did

That was SO close!
I think that oncoming driver panicked just a little.
He should have let off the brakes and just rolled over it without losing that much control.
A tree of that size should not be hard to move, for maybe 2 people.
I did know a guy once that would have just picked it up and tossed it to the side. He made Arnie seem just a little small.pattyj Thanks this. -
Yesterday someone lost a box spring in one of the middle lanes in Vegas, one car ran it over and it blew into pieces and then another car decided to come to a complete stop!
-
Its a good thing a car was not stopped looking to turn around?

The correct procedure is to take your foot off the fuel and not break while going over it. if you're loaded, you'll obliterate that into wood chips easily. I had to use the same kind of procedure when I hit a fully-grown pit bull running down the freeway in Fresno one night. Turned the poor animal into hamburger meat instantly :\ That was my 1st week on the road actually.

If I come around a curve or over a hill and see that, I'm like "Holy ####ing ####" !!
But if I'm watching a video of it , then I'm like "the correct procedure is to....etc"
