Im not sure what is going on with these forums. Post something once fine, it gets sort of scattered. Does that make sense to anyone?

Thats a load of horse doo. They may have restrictions on blade lengths but there are no states that you can't carry a pocket knife.

It was legally issued. I'm still in the reserve and carry all my gear with me. Vest, baton, gun belt. I checked, it's perfectly legal. But that is for my situation. You're absolutely correct that it's a controlled item and without a reason, carrying one around could lead to some serious issues.

I don't have a problem with your position then. Thank you for your service.

There are people who carry those things arounmd and are not too hard to discover if they are in the habit of bragging.

    Sharp fast wit is vital.

Being able to write a blank rule book for something in a few moments, make a decision and execute all the the way for better or worse is a weapon as well, the mind.

Especially if you are under attack by the bad guys and can make or get inside their boyd loop of decision making and force them to react to you instead of sitting there waiting your own death.

I can tell you that I used up a life time future's worth of mind work because there are many times each week I want to bang my head against the desk or wall for being so stupid these days. If that is the price of getting through areas where there is no God, No Law and certainly evil then so be it.

I was not aware of tension between LEO'S and drivers? ??

I think it's hilarious how people rail against firearms, especially AR's & such, when 99% of the population probably would not even know how to chamber a round. Let alone be proficient with it.

Best non fire arm weapon = Thumper. You can use it the same as a baton.
If you are not aware of baton techniques, take a class. Absolutely the best weapon for sub doing someone without killing.

Just remember the most true words of wisdom from Iron Mike regarding hand to hand combat -- Everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the face.

I used to race my car on the interstate with a couple detectives and DPS officers lol, I completely missed the boat on tensions between drivers and LEO'S lmfao.

Remember a few years ago when the feds went nuts over the idea of importing some M1 Garands from Korea?

Yeah, I can imagine the average street thug trying to chamber a round with one of those. He'd likely wind up trying to run down the street with the rifle hanging off his thumb while holding his pants up with his other hand. :biggrin_25523::biggrin_25520:
