so you were looking at the board when the load hit? and it was marked refused? all ya had to do Mr. i know the system perfectly, is click the buttons on the bottom of the page and commit yourself to the load, you can commit to any load on the board whether you are matched, refused, or not even any kind of indicator. frankly , moglar, you are so convinced of the bull crap conspiracy theories, that you in fact dont have a clue how the system works. you can see the forest from the trees, also your preferences can cause a load to be refused, you have to continually ask the coordinator and verify those preferences. you got a lot to learn , you state you know whats going on, but your actions and statements prove otherwise. and just like spyder said, you could have shown #1 but a guy not on the board sitting on home time could have clicked on commit at home and put you to number 2.
it is indeed a sad situation when a guy thinks he knows it all because then he cant learn anything, and least you do know your problem looks back at you in the mirror.

You didn't bother to read my post. If someone in front of me got the load.....no problem. I understand the system.....convoluted as it is.
Lie#1
First the load was shown as " refused" by me the moment it showed up. I did not refuse it. Coordinator said that I did.
Lie#2
Contacted someone else at Mercer. Mercer said that the load timed out because I did not respond to it in time and went to the next driver behind me. ( so they say) Mercer further indicated that I did not refuse the load as the coordinator stated.
This was not a matter of someone in front of me getting the load etc etc. I was lied 2 twice. This is not the first time this bait and switch game has been played.
I know all about the preferences and the other nuances on the load board. Before I get into a froth and post in the forums I had already discussed this with a driver who has been there well over 20 years who does not live far from me. As a control I have someone else I talk to as well. So please spare me the " learn the ropes" and the finger wagging that I don't understand. I understand plenty and know who to talk to.
I know what happened. And so do they. So please spare me the Hillary Clinton style posturing that there was nothing wrong.
God bless -
You and freightwipper would get along great with how much you both ##### about your load board problems

A couple inaccuracies!!
1. There are more than 2 people who can go in & refuse you on a load, because the agent also has the ability to refuse you on a load. If a agent refuses you though, they're supposed to call you first, if they don't you can get the load back.
2. The way your preferences are set does not refuse you on a load, it won't match you to it, but it doesn't refuse you. -
To Lie# 1 - A load that comes up and shows refused can happen, regardless of what those two say, and more than 2 people have the ability to refuse it. It can also repost as refused for you if you had previously refused it, even if it was refused months ago. If it happens to you, make sure you have the load# and call contractor relations. I had this happen a few months ago, the agent said they called and I didn't answer, contractor relations took care of it.
To Lie#2 - Loads do time out. If you're looking at "Matched" vs "Advanced", you will be behind in time. I have no idea why, but "Matched" lags by up to a couple minutes.
Some of the things you say without a doubt does happen. But if you're on the 30 board it's up to you to put a end to it! -
This is a new wrinkle to me. What is a "30 board?"
