Traffic was a mess last night coming out of FL up past Tifton. Really heavy, but moving along good, then all at once come to a stop for no reason. Started hearing bad things about big backups north of Macon, so I stopped early, and rolled out this a.m. Totally different this morning. Foot to the floor all the way to where you exit, and there was a wreck at the Atlanta bypass, and my exit was backed up from all the people trying to go around it. But, still made it early to the shipper.
I kinda like it when it's threatening weather. Had to get the trailer washed out in Jackson, GA. I was in and out in under 30 minutes.
The wife survived the hurricane. Started raining about sunrise, she lost power for about an hour this afternoon and just breezy. No major rain, or really anything to get excited about. The next town over had lost power longer...they're on Florida Power...go figure.

I reset my gps miles clock on the morning of the first this week. As of right now (evening of the 7th) it says 3,766 miles.
On my way to a 3-drop in Washington. Taking a necessary 34 at the pilot in billings, MT. First drop is a 9 hour drive day away on the 10th on the east side of Washington. Then the next 2 are the next morning on the west side of Washington about 2 hours/10 miles apart. Of course Matt always has nice loads going back east. This has been an awesome week for me.
I really do love my job. -
Delivered to Case in Fargo today. Man that place is cool. Felt like a little kid except I wanted to drive 1!
Spent 2 hours in the shop for nothing. Still have my mill lamp light on. Seems they were more interested in bad mouthing CR then fixing it right.
Met @Winnyf1 today in Fargo. Wish we couldve talked longer. I'd love to have picked your brain about trucking. You've already helped me alot by talking on the phone 1 time.Winnyf1 Thanks this. -
