US Cold storage Fort Worth, arrived at 0250 and empty at 0322...lol they were so bored they actually looked forward to unloading me lol...

 

They are adding a new dispatcher. So workload should get better and a fleet effluence. Maybe that position will look at smoothing out the weekly mileage average and raise it.

 

Fleet efficiency and hopefully it won't change our culture, would hate to have to leave but time will tell

 

Looks I will be a vampire tonight. Load was in their computer but a pick sheet was never given to the warehouse so they have just started picking my load 1 hour after my appt time. Going to be a long day.

 

Yeah that part isn't as exciting. To me, "fleet efficiency" screams fuel/mpg bonus... which screams pay restructuring. But if that were to happen I would guess it would be a while. But what do I know, I'm just a greenhorn.

 

I am thinking more like "suggested fueling" stops. And that new "testing" of the wingman recording software will be used in retraining drivers to be more efficient.
