I know your ...never go back rule...but I'm guessing. ..out of Crete, Poly and Magnum. ..Crete pay was the most per year...and the insurance cover was the best ...for the cost

Given two drivers of equal skill and driving the same number of days the pay is substantially more at poly. I can pull up something more concrete from my database from both places when I have more time. For the most part I enjoyed my time at Crete and if I would have been at the top of the pay scale and they hadn't done away with the multiple load offers I would likely still be there as I don't like switching jobs. Crete wasn't terrible but the added freedom I have here to run pretty much where I want to, way less people in my business and more $$$ I am certainly glad I jumped ship.

everyone seems to focus on the 50cpm, i guess money is at the top of the list for most people, but there were many other good things at poly that i dont think anyone thinks about or maybe they dont care about.

but i thought JD and Chemstar already discussed all that. it seems like drivers zoom right in on the cpm and dont look at the whole picture. i think searching for a driving job is like searching for a woman, if you dont know yourself then how will you know what to look for. prob why the divorce rate is so high lol

The reason most people just zoom in on their pay rate is because very few companies pay that much by the hub mile. And it's THE pay rate everyone gets from day one, not the rate you can achieve after years of service. Plus it's the 1st place to look when choosing a company...the company could offer all sorts of fringe benefits to attract drivers, but if the per mile is crappy, then a lot of drivers wouldn't be interested since most mortgage companies and utility companies only accept money as payment. You could have the greatest paid health benefits possible, the fanciest, most reliable equipment, all sorts of driver beneficial policies, but if a driver only made $6-700/week, it doesn't pay the bills. I won't go into the woman comparison...I've already gotten in trouble on the forum once this week...what I would say in that area might be too offensive for some
