In my Swift days I was being paced by a 4 wheeler one day. I looked down and see he had dash cams plastered all over his windows recording every whichway angle, speed, tires if they are crossing the line and pointed up at the driver (me) to see if I was holding a phone.

I was reading the Swift forum yesterday, a trainee reporting that Swift has cameras in the hotels for the students and the instructors wear body cameras all day.

This could be fun to have on the truck it didn't set you back a cool $1600.

I was there 5 days including an entire weekend. I was told that even if the trucks are physically ready, sometimes they have to wait on the paperwork to arrive by mail.

You can charge whatever amount you want, so long as its approved. We aren't company drivers. That's why there are forms to fill out for the labor.
Find out what a lumper would charge and come up with your own amount.

$8/pallet is a good rate tho for straight pull. When crap has to be broken down or restacked due to bad boards, then it begins a chore.
