You going up thru Hell's Canyon up thru Lewiston? If so, don't forget your 53' permit for that route.

I'll still be around...at least to annoy and agitage on the forum. Hopefully my next home time will be my last as a Magnum driver.

@supersnackbar what is that road like going thru Lewiston up to post falls. Never been up it. Will only have about 10k lbs on going up to post falls.
Got lucky only 31k lbs total on load. First 2 stops only getting 2 pallets each so hopefully should be quick.. There only 1/2 mile apart.

it's been 15 years since I went up that way, but, if I remember it right, it's similar to the route we use to take from the Poly West plant up to I84 in Twin Falls ID. It was a lot of 2 lane, but not bad as long as they didn't get slammed with bad weather. Really beautiful scenery.

Ahhh broker loads. Fought thru 1.5 hours of icy and snowy DFW roads to get to my 1st pick up...and there is a SNAFU...my info (from the broker and Magnum) both said pick up today (the 6th)...the shipping office at the 1st stop says the 16th. Mr. Matt is working on it as we speak...can't say that I'll miss this place one teeney bit...

Yea, it turns out that the new number the broker gave me as a load confirmation number was wrong(they added a stop and changed some stuff)..brokers, can't live with 'em...can't just shoot 'em. At least it gave me time to let the snow stop falling.

DFW only got a dusting, but the interstates, especially the over/underpasses were slick enough to send the DFW'ers spinning.
