Called ahead to Campbells this morning... plant closed, no one in for receiving....
Due to weather....
Not a trace of snow or ice around here...
Possiblly opening at 2230... call back at 1500
The guard said 'There's parking across the street'

She laughed and said she won't even go in the store.... I said me either... (if you have ever been to that place across the street from Campbells you will get this! Lol)
At the Sun Do waiting it out....

Pick up tomorrow in Warsaw headed up to Plymouth MI....

 

Made it to Boise. 6 miles from 1st stop in a rest area. 34 degrees pouring down rain. With all the snow on the ground there is no where for the water to go the road has become a river with several resoviors on it. Should be able to get my first 3 stops off tomorrow not sure about making Post Falls Tuesday morning 84 in Oregon has been closed at the Idaho state line since yesterday. Sporadically opening till a new wreck happens. Might try 95 up to post falls no bad weather going that way. Is Bryce who I contact about possibly needing a 53' trailer permit to go that way?

 

Anything you spend on truck supplies will be reimbursed. Save the receipt.

Also, Dispatch can take care of permits if needed.

I was just there! I drove over to Jamestown, about 85 miles or so west. When did you get there? I was at the safety office today picking up some new permits.

 

I a man going to make delivery in post falls on time. Waited a couple hours after my 3rd drop. They finally opened 84 up in Oregon had been closed since Saturday. Chains not required till Meachsm so I figured I would get to Lagrande and park but 15 minutes before I got to there they dropped the chain law. Got my reload. Picking up in Peneldton going to Jamestown.

 

I got there around 1600

 

May I officially say, I am sooooo sick of winter already, and it isn't half way over. Snow and ice in Dallas earlier this week, now when I brought my Newport load to the CR yard, I hit snow just north of Madison, WI...then I wake up to....more freekin snow and I have to deadhead down to Waseca MN for a GA load...walking in a winter wonderland...my big ole butt (to quote Mad Max - from Johnboy and Billy's "The Big Show")
