Maybe she looked in the wrong place in "the system". I can't imagine they have to apply that discount to every single Magnum driver's account individually. I can understand if they look up an individual account it won't show anything about our special deal. But they should be able to look at the account and use their noggin a little to see you work for Magnum, which has their own company account, which is where the discount is most likely applied. You probably just need to talk to the "right" person at Pilot who knows what they're doing.

I spent 8 years in IT in a former life so I can think of ways to outsmart the computer lol

 

She reset my password so I can use the app, she looked up the specific fueling I've done and my points, so I think she saw all that she can see. I msg'd Chad to see who at Magnum talks to Pilot and sets up such deals so I can get this straight, he said that his original msg said that Pilot employees can't see our special deal, but never told me who to talk to...So...I guess it's just another hint from karma pushing me towards the exit door.

 

I'm most likely taking Hometime in February. But mostly just to take a break. I don't really need to go back to the house.

So I'm thinking about possibly going to some kind of seminar or course to learn a new skill. Like real estate investing or financial related, maybe get a new computer certification. I'm open to ideas and going anywhere in the country (where Magnum can get me). Does anyone know of any cool educational events coming up? Preferably something that spans a few days. I'm literally open to anything. Hydroponic farming anyone? I just want it to be introductory level. Except computer stuff. I can handle advanced computer courses.

Not interested in auto mechanics though. Or knitting.

I may still go back to the house, I haven't decided.

NO, but there is street parking on the road that runs in front of their building (not the side road you turn in their gate from). You can follow that road past their building and it dead ends in a cul-de-sac you can turn around at, and parking is only allowed facing like your heading back out. Or....there is a small truck stop south of town.

 

Is the parking on the cul de sac next to Park designs just down the street?

 

And in other great news my daughter has a fracture in her ankle. Crutches splint with no weight on it till further notice and she sees a specialist

 

It's on the side of a dead end street next to the "parking this side only" signs. Fairly quiet neighborhood.

 

Go past Park Designs all the way to the end, turn around and park on the right. It's quiet if the Air Force isn't doing touch and go's ....
There is also a Walmart about 9 miles away you can park at. Also a Walmart about 2 miles away that you can park at but park around back not in front of the store.
