Waiting to unload at Mclanes in Concord, NC tonight. From here I run up to Marion, NC for a run out to Aurora, CO. Still trying to recover my fuel mileage average after my Jamestown to Dallas load gave me 2 days of a northern head wind.

 

Nice of you to get that done. Most people would have just idled it till they left.

 

I love love love when I open the doors of my trailer to back into the dock and the amazing aroma comes pouring into my nostrils. Right now it's frozen potato slices. Smells so friggin good!

 

So.......I was doing good not being on CP time with my pick ups and deliveries. Sitting here thinking I can split sleeper, get up and only 55 minutes to drive with 97 miles to go. Just great now my whole day has just went to crap.

Well, even though it didn't work for me at Magnum, I didn't want to punish the next poor schmuck (just kidding)....ummmm I mean the next driver with having to visit the shop right after they get their stuff stored.

Picked up yesterday at Tyson in Olathe, Kansas after getting in a reset. That place is 'rules' crazy... do this don't do that etc....
Just arrived at Newport Cold Storage for my 11:15 unload and 15:30 reload. I'm hoping it's out of the same door!
Headed to Suffolk, Va for a 0330 delivery on Monday.

 

Kicking myself for doing it now. 2 hours into my trip to pick up in Park Rapids my engine light came on and a 'call Peter-care' message appeared...tried starting/shutting down several times, but it didn't clear like it did right after a similar issue happened on the last A service I had done at a TA. Paccar/Pete's are making me miss my old Poly Prostar (either one).

 

I was all set up to have a 3000 mile week for the first week out after home time but my truck decided against that. Stopped the other day and my APU wouldn't turn on so I went and checked the engine and the whole thing had shifted enough to turn the switch to the off position. Got it up to CR yesterday and the shop told me all 4 engine mounts broke and I was lucky it didn't fall off while driving. So I'm using a loaner truck to make a drop and pick up in park rapids and bring it back to the yard. The shop said they would have it done this afternoon if they can get the parts.
