Can anyone tell me where the APU fuse is located? AC isn't working and the last time it happened TK just changed a fuse, everything else functions as it should.

If your APU is running but the air conditioning isn't working… The fuse for that is in the big box inside your side box right side. You have to unscrew it and I think it's a 20 amp fuse.
If your APU isn't running there is a big fuse 50 amp I think, behind the APU engine. But you have to unscrew the whole top housing to get to it.

Or...the a/c is f'd. These new evolution tripacks have a defect, the refrigerant lines aren't tied down properly and they rub a hole then blow all the freon out. Both @radioshark and I have had the same issue with that. Thermoking is generally pretty quick about fixing it if that is the issue...but it is the weekend, so you might have to idle until they open on Monday

The APU itself runs fine except for the AC, I got the dreaded Orange Triangle of Death when I tried to run the AC yesterday. Thanx for the info, I'll check that fuse and pray that @supersnackbar isn't right.

The new TK apu's have an ecm and a control panel (but downgraded the controls to rotary knobs for temp and function instead of digital). When something goes wrong, you get a amber/orange triangle on the control panel. Makes it a lot quicker for the tech's to diagnose problems.

@supersnackbar have you ever considered being a trainer? You could make some mad moolah! You'd be good at it. The way you explain things and all. Unless you're like me... the "I don't give a #### I don't want another person in my truck with me" type :D

Our trainers make like .53 cpm as long as they are "available" to train a student, right? Regardless of stats.

Don't know if you had your truck washed... but sometimes when they wash they hit the fan on the back of the cab. It spins the fan the wrong way and actually sends a charge back towards the control panel that is inside your side box. It blows the fuse.
This is why many of the trucks have that sign near the fan telling the wash people to not hit the fan. Thermo King charges $135 to change the fuse. I have a fuse tester so it was easy to find the bad one. It was a yellow 20 amp fuse.
I had the same problem as you have. Orange triangle with exclamation point on the display inside the truck. I would change the fuse and it would work for a few days then blow the fuse again. By the time I got to the shop in Fargo, the fan was locked up. Wouldn't spin at all. The fans bearings were shot. They had it replaced in 15 minutes....
    Hope it's just the fuse....
