Back to work after forced mini vacation. Spent Friday and Saturday nights at my Uncles. Was treated like a king while I was there. Played cards watched sports delicious meals and drank adult beverages.
Arrived at my pickup at 0800 for 0900 appt leaving at 0840 with 25 pallets. And it's snowing again.

I saw the Weather Channel's competition say that WY had winter storm warnings up. And the 7 day outlook on the Weather Channel site shows snow thru ID, UT, parts of MT, ND, SD and the CO rockies. Ole' man winter just won't quit.

So I just found out there is a high reverse gear. Accidentally had the switch up and put it in reverse. It's really fast. Scared the bajeezes out of me. Good thing I'm bobtail in a giant, empty, dirt lot. :D I didn't know that existed.

I only had 3/4 tank of fuel and didn't see any PFJs up that way. Probably could have made it, but didn't feel like taking the chance. So I just went the "normal" route. Next time I'll be more prepared.

Hey has anyone had a problem with their inverter?? Mine started beeping and then shuts off? Seems like it doesn't have a good connection or something... This is only while it's under load. No load, no problem.

Sounds to me like it might be going bad or the alternator is going on the apu. Have you tried it with the truck running or just with the apu?...too bad they don't have a voltage display on them, you could see if you have enough volts

I know! That would really help... It's when the truck is running too so that's good at least. But still sucks, do they go bad like that often?

Not really, sometimes it can be a loose connection at the batteries too, occasionally it is a bad inverter. I take it it fails under any load? For example the inrush current of some cooking items would trip the inverter.

Call Paul and see if this is something you can get from a Thermo King on the road.
