Came out tuesday from time off and when I deliver the current load i am on Monday morning i will have 3100 paid miles and 7 hrs on my 70 until Wednesday.
3 out of last 4 weeks have been well over 3k and the only reason the other wasn't is I was home for 3 days.

I point this out because I don't usually work this hard but the loads have been fairly easy loads and I guess the spring weather has my old bones feeling pretty good.

Im exausted. One of our local drivers backed into the front of my Western Star and took out the front end. So I had to move into a loaner Cascadia. Next week I will have the option of getting a Cascadia that is in much better condition or a 780 Volvo. Both are 13 speed manuals. My fav trans. I saw the Cascadia getting cleaned up in the shop. Have not seen the Volvo yet. But they are giving me my choice so that is decent of them.

We dont go any farther west than Texas.
Really depends on how long you stay out.

If you are going to go home every weekend for a reset then they would keep you in position to get you home easier.

We have plenty of drivers in those other regions also.

I heard that same statement from more than one driver here. Big G uses(or used since they're phasing them out) the smaller sleeper Volvo, and they said the T680's are much more comfy and have more storage. Honestly, IMHO, I think the 680 is one of the most comfortable trucks I have driven in 22 years.
