In my experience, I am probably 80% drop and hook, and of the live loads and unloads I have experienced, I have waited more than two hours maybe 10% of the time. Worst ever was waiting nine hours in Russellville Arkansas for ConAgra to load me. They kept telling me about half an hour, about 45 minutes. They did that several times in a row. After that the worst wait has been 3.75 hrs.

Look into Magnum out of Fargo ND. About 1/4 of our drivers are from NC. Plenty of freight to get you home. Do some research!! Not all reefer outfits are the same.

    Yep, check Magnum Ltd.
Also, Lessors, Inc. is good for experienced drivers. Shouldn't have any problem there making the money you want. APU, etc.
Holland Enterprises Inc. - cpm a little low, but the long runs make up for it. APU, etc.

11,000 miles, that is excellent miles, HOPEFULLY along with excellent pay.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

Forget about anything resembling a normal schedule unless you pull only drop and hooks. (Good luck with that)

Check out Mast Trucking out of Millersburg Oh. They have a few different pay plans but seeing as you don't mind the road you'll probably be on their OTR program. 800 dollars salary a week plus mileage, safety bonus, stop pay, 100 bucks to go into NYC. I drove for them for 15 months and by far one of the best companies I've worked for. Small outfit with really nice equipment. Currently t660s and Cascadias with fridges and APUs. When I ran with them I was consistently hitting right around the 1300 to 1500 a week gross margin. I'd highly recommend them.
