Just curious if any of you clean out your DPF yourself? If so do you use a pressure washer? Any advice would be great! Thanks

D-16, Volvo, took dpf apart and soaked in simple green and rinsed. May take several cleanings to get it clean. 50K miles since removal and cleaning, and no issues. Be sure to get new gaskets and clamps to put the filter back together.

Really!! I guess they have never seen how one is actually cleaned in a blast type furnace..
We buy a new one...have the original cleaned and keep it for the next service interval.....every 250k it gets swapped out and I hope they know the trucks ECM needs updated each time the filter is cleaned..At least on a Cummins.

Better not breath that crap in, you'll be visiting an undertaker.

It needs to be professionally cleaned, just blowing it out with air nozzle you can't properly clean it. You have to measure before/after restriction and possibly bake it as well.
    Entire proper process here...
