Running with JCT, Part Deux

Same thing with Texas. I'm getting mine done tomorrow here in Sapulpa. The doc that was here retired last week, so, now physical is done a Concentra.

 

Yeah that's going to be a pain in the ### for orientation....

I have heard bad things about Concentra like they want you to go take sleep tests and crap. Find yourself a chiropractor who is on the CME list and pay $50 bucks badabing badaboom

 

I go to the guy at the Petro in Ontario. He seems like he actually cares he likes pulling my old records to see how my weights going down in my blood pressure dropping and stuff like that.

He did bring up sleep apnea a couple of times but I told him I legitimately don't have symptoms and I require at least three symptoms for my insurance to cover a sleep test so I'm not going to lie to a doctor to get clearance to take a sleep test if I have no symptoms. And since he saw that I actually researched and I'm actually interested in my health he was fine with it.

 

That's what I heard about Concentra, they don't care about symptoms, just send the driver down for sleep test, they aren't worried about whether the driver has health insurance coverage for that and it could possibly cause a major financial burden on a driver.

 

Well that's what happens when they linked every doctor in that database. Doctors are more worried about them not testing for it and getting liability for passing a driver.

The thing is there's no longer a sleep apnea requirement. That's also why I've been on a Mad Dash to try to lose weight is when it does come back into effect if they're going to use weight and BMI I need to get under that so I don't have to test just because I hit numbers.

Now if I had symptoms, I'd go get immediately. But that's just because I care about my health and the ones around me as I drive.

 

There’s an acronym for when a truck is ordered and not used. They don’t like to here it but have paid us every time I’ve used it.

 

Was only there for about 50 minutes ... Had to take the cert back to the terminal anyway to get off safety hold.

 

Sleep test symptoms? Wake up tired? Not feeling you're getting enough sleep? Periodic waking during the night? Catch yourself snoring yourself awake? My piss habits are about as impactful as sleep apnea?

What is a good nights sleep? That's the question. Not to be Shakespearean.
