Good to see you're still with us I was beginning to wonder...

I'm on a long grind that started on December 19th and we'll go till about March 19th... Then it's home for some R&R, celebrate rooster Jr 20th birthday, get the taxes done.

Future grinds won't be so long I guarantee it.

Staying safe, decent miles, crappy weather, I guess we can't have it all.

I signed into the driver dashboard yesterday and it said I just got my 5 th diamond from my ring... Will be passing through Joplin this afternoon, if the office is open I'll drop the ring off.

 

Im Currently in Mass picking up a load going to Penn. Just been so busy with holiday freight. Even with the ELOG mandate. Its getting more busier.

 

And all the owners say that the freight slows down this time of year, I think they slow down they just don't want to drive in the winter time.

Well the rates have went up slightly. My concern was parking, however I havent seen a difference in that either. Bad news is truck is giving me problem. Trying to get too GA and have my mechanic look at it. Its an external leak of coolant. Not so sure where though. Good news is Im almost close to getting a Glider kit.

 

Are you putting a different motor in your truck or you getting a whole new package?

 

Getting a new KW T660. Thats my dream truck, no emissions and straight mechanical will be perfect. Besides I would eventually have to redo the rear ends and tranny if I didnt purchase a new Glider. Im not much of a freightliner fan. What kills me is the service at dealerships. Theyre slow as ever and their are still a bunch that work banker hours. Particually where I live they are HORRIBLE, about keeping your truck. It took them a week and 4 days to replace a sensor and a bunk heater smh.

I found the leak. Its coming from my Radiator so Ill keep it filled with coolant till I get home and have my mechanic get too it.

Paid for wifi tonight, wanted to fill out an app for a job in the big house in JOPMO....posting taken down.

Started filling out an app for road service dept. Don't guess I can afford it, but wanted to see the pay rate. Filling out the app, really annoying. Hint don't attempt to play with that non-user-friendly thing when you are tired. It wouldn't let me proceed from a place where it required and answer, but I didn't have one...I tried to backspace the page, it closed the application. Couldn't find button on the main page to look at current applications. Didn't have one...Too tired to be patient.
