From what I’m hearing the long haul for solo drivers is pretty much gone I have to go out with a trainer for 6 weeks I don’t think I need that much time but I am going to try to get 3 weeks and be on my own

These meat grinder OTR companies just ask to much for to little pay.drvrtech77, Vic Firth, 48Packard and 1 other person Thank this. -
When I was there, I knew a trainer who had to train a driver who had millions of miles in a tanker, only because the guy had never driven a 53' van before. The trainer felt like a student instead of a teacher.

Length of runs haven’t been too bad for me lately either. On the other hand, how is it that they don’t know where their empty trailers are at any given time?
jethro712 Thanks this.
