JCT is now getting the 19 Cascadias in. One of the Texas Only guys got the first ones off the yard. They are going back to TK for the APU. The only thing I'm not a fan of is that they have a camera that is zoomed on the drivers eyes and detects if you are looking at the road or not.

If it detects that you're not looking at the road for more 10 seconds, your seat vibrates and the camera turns on and notifies JCT.

How does some sort of silly ### system like that work when you have sunglasses on? Or a glass eye? Or an eyepatch on during international pirate day? If I had to drive with the system like that, I would literally drive everywhere with a Guy Fawkes mask on.

It's just insured that I'll never upgrade, honestly. And if they start trying to retrofit the older trucks, then I'll outside finance. Then...no real reason to stay.

if your trust level of the drivers so low that you have to have a camera pointed at him in the truck then I don't want to drive for you. because it means your hiring standards are so crappy you've got to do that to mitigate insurance.

Exactly. I will never, ever EVER drive for any company, that includes JCT, that has any sort of camera pointed at my face. I don’t care what activates the camera, or what triggers it to turn on, I just know that I’m never going to drive a truck with a camera pointed at my face.

Well maybe I wont come back then. I refuse to work in a place where I am on camera all day.
