I have a team of doctors and they were all humble as humble can be. You would not imagine for a minute they were powerful surgeons, doctors etc.

One in particular millionaire many times over. Very nice person. But god help you if you broke a tiny rule or crossed swords with him. You simply no longer exist as a patient anymore with this one. after I viewed the Medicare prescription history on him and about 110 medicines types given to 2110 medicare patients in each month of the benefit year 2015 (I was one of them on three of those 110 medicines) and frankly realized that I am easily forgotten. In terms of 150 a billable visit followed by a 250 dollar drug test billing and god only knows what else is possible when he begins to pull in specialists and so on. One thing was clear, I was a tiny runt to him mentally. I was nothing. But that's not why I was there. He was enjoying life playing at doctor taking care of people who were willing to work with him and not do stupid stuff.

My current doctor has been more than patient with me when I have had things to tell him what for. (In a nice way, but sometimes not so nice words carefully chosen to emphasize that yes Houston the #### thing blew up...) Not to mention 300 dollar billable visits, and 800 cool dollar drug testing.

When this is all over and done with within about 9 weeks and counting. I intend to reduce the number of doctors to just two. Right now I got about 12 running about. Keeping all of them on one sheet of music falls to me. Herding Cats.

    Edit.

I might see me some angels soon. (Nurses RN like the one at the ER the previous month. She was very very good for a nurse. For that I am grateful. We will see if that feeling persists after she hands me a bill for 55 dollars a hour times however many she had to put up with cranky old me)

I remember an obese Navy SEAL that drives trucks as a cover for his real job. He's always on call and sometimes must immediately park the truck and fly to another country to assassinate someone.

Never a dull day at the office, for sure. I’d never drive a truck if I had that job. I’d just call in every day asking, How close is xxxxx to being a national security risk? ;)

I don't know that they did quit. They came into my thread where I reported my earning for the year, said they were not impressed and said reefer and car haulers make more.

It is my understanding that oilfield drivers spend a lot of time in mud, rain, ice, snow, wind, dust storms, cow ####, dodging snakes, driving on dirt roads, and trying to make field repairs. I prefer sitting in my air conditioned cab waiting for the guys with the fork lifts to finish unloading.

I was a nurse.... does that count... wouldn’t go back to it after doing this for 18 years! No way; no how! :)

    I’d say you’re the smart one ;)
I have 2 in my family lol. Transported me to ER during a past Thanksgiving dinner. All huffy about me having a heart attack.

I have a hiatal hernia. Symptoms mimic a heart attack if I over eat. I tried to tell them this lolol

At least my pie was still there when we got back :)

You got that right! We had an ungodly amount of rain this year in South TX. How I didn't get stuck I'll never know but I did come home every night looking like I had been to the local fair to wrestle the hogs, lol!!!
