Since Magnum and Pilot are close business partners, did ya'll get any info about Road Ranger leaving the Pilot network? Over here, we got a msg saying Pilot was selling some of their locations to Road Ranger (I don't think the folks in the office know that they were together on the fuel side). I can't find any info on it anywhere online, but my thread about the split has another driver saying they were told about it last week.

    Winnyf1 Thanks this.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We're on the road this year. The load gods blessed us with an Austin MN to Woodburn OR load. So nice and busy! Take care and enjoy some turkey!

Once you get over here you learn the routes and times and make it work for you. I understand about the lack of sleep or not falling asleep....the only down side to reefer are the irregular schedules. Some shippers you learn to avoid because it will throw u off schedule, some routes you avoid because of the tight around.

Ok guys... I’ll be attending orientation on Jan 7th. Just got off the phone with Tony. He said he admires me for sticking it out for a year here. Don’t matter that one month after starting. I had two oos and one in service violation on inspection. He understands and knows me. Hands it to me for fighting it out for a year. Which is what I’ve had to do.
Company is paying for my rental car to get to Fargo. Understands I have a lot of stuff. I live in this truck. I gotta bring it all. He’s gonna have a truck waiting for me on the 7th. Move on in. Attend orientation. Ya da yadda.... happy as can be.

    sc00ter and Zata40 Thank this.

In case there are any other heavy-breathing dodos like me out there who always put up with windows that are fogged (or frozen inside) every morning... My uncle taught me to use these settings at night. I haven't had fogged windows since I've been using this.

I'm sure most of you are already aware of how these controls work. But I wasn't! Helped me a lot! I've always just turned the truck completely off at night until now.
