I swear why are truck stops so bad at removing snow and ice? I mean at minimum around their fuel island... Come on...9 hours into 2019 and I've already been on the ground...

 

You're doing way better than the driver that got shot at the TA in San Antonio yesterday.

No idea. The truck stop workers were talking about a road rage incident at the stop light to turn into the truck stop. Cops and paramedics were already at the truck when I arrived. Driver was ok enough to park in the truck stop and talk to the cops before going to the hospital.

 

Backing out of my spot this morning there was a patch of ice about 1/8th inch thick by 3 feet wide by about 20 feet long, well my drives got on it and would not budge. Finally got it forward again and tried to get a running backwards start but almost slipped sideways into my neighbor. Kept working it and finally was able to go warp speed reverse out of the parking spot without hitting anything. Automated trannies suck in that instance.
