What's the lowest? It's rare that I see a JCT with less than an L.

Every leased truck starts with an L. For example, my truck number is L3858. I'm the first driver with this truck. So, no letter at the end.

Now, if I turned in this truck; the number would get an A at the end ( L3858A) when the next driver leased it. Then B, C and so forth.

So, to answer your question, the lowest is no letter at the end. Now, seeing a truck a few years old with still the original driver is somewhat rare.

Who in their right mind would take that?
I’d be afraid it was a lemon or been abused.

I talked to the driver for a few mintues. He is new to the company and it was one of a very limited number of trucks to choose from. He took it in order to get moving and and is already in talks to upgrade to a brand new truck when they start rolling in. He says he knew what he was getting into when he made that decision.

I didn't have time to really talk more with him, so, didn't really get mucg for a first impression on the guy.

Truck assignment told me there's already 19s out there with C's.

My 17 has no letter which makes it rare as a #### unicorn. 451k miles so I'm in the home stretch...

That truck is probably heard the phrase "#### this place" more times than a prison... Or boot camp.
